Training Course “After the Show Where Do the Actors Go?”

Concluding a decade-long Erasmus+ journey with the training course “After the Show Where Do the Actors Go?” highlighted once again the long-term impact of international learning experiences and non-formal education.

The training course took place in Sărata Monteoru, Buzău, Romania, from 16–25 April 2026, bringing together 36 participants from 17 countries. The main focus of the project was to provide competences and practical tools for better valorisation of Erasmus+ mobility results and to strengthen the understanding of how project outcomes can create wider and longer-lasting impact.

One of the key takeaways of the training was exploring the differences between visibility, dissemination, and exploitation within the Erasmus+ framework, as well as recognizing the importance of sharing project results with broader audiences in meaningful and sustainable ways.

The methodology was based on non-formal education methods, including presentations, debates, role play, theatre, storytelling, simulations, campaigns, video creation, and interactive workshops. Activities also included team sessions, outdoor activities, intercultural evenings, reflection groups, visits, and evaluation processes designed to encourage active participation and experiential learning.

Through methods such as Fish Market sessions, World Café discussions, trust-building activities, land art, and intercultural exchanges, participants explored the topic from multiple perspectives while sharing ideas, experiences, cultural traditions, and stories.

Beyond practical knowledge and new tools, the project strengthened teamwork, communication, creativity, and intercultural understanding among participants from diverse backgrounds. It also reinforced the importance of empathy, openness, collaboration, and active citizenship within international youth work.

Erasmus+ continues to serve as a powerful platform for personal growth, intercultural dialogue, professional development, and fostering a stronger sense of belonging within the European community.
