The Stories and Literacies Erasmus+ training brought together youth workers from across Europe for an intensive learning experience focused on storytelling, media literacy, and critical thinking.

Through interactive workshops, discussions, and practical exercises, participants explored how narratives shape perceptions, influence decisions, and impact young people’s lives. The training addressed key topics such as misinformation, cognitive biases, emotional framing, and the role of media and algorithms in today’s information environment.

As a result, participants strengthened their ability to critically analyse media content, recognise manipulation, and use storytelling as a responsible and inclusive tool in youth work. They also gained practical methods to support young people in becoming more informed, reflective, and active citizens.

This project contributed to building a stronger network of youth workers committed to promoting media literacy, democratic values, and critical engagement across Europe.
