Young People from Across Europe Gather in Pāvilosta to Develop Career Skills

From April 29 to May 5, 2026, the coastal town of Pāvilosta, Latvia is hosting an Erasmus+ Youth Exchange, “Career Compass for Youth.” The initiative brings together 36 young participants aged 16 and above from six countries: Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Poland, Spain, and Serbia.

The project aims to help young people better understand their career opportunities, develop practical skills, and foster collaboration in an international environment. Throughout the week, participants take part in interactive workshops where they learn how to create effective CVs, engage in job interview simulations, and explore various career development paths.

As part of the program, the participants also visit local businesses in Pāvilosta, gaining insight into Latvia’s entrepreneurial landscape while experiencing the local culture firsthand. At the same time, the project promotes intercultural dialogue, encourages the formation of new friendships, and enhances Pāvilosta’s visibility on an international level.
